MWC 2010 Barcelona is the world’s largest conference for the mobile industry. The conference is taking place soon. Following last year tradition of compiling a list of networking events, I decided to initiate a new list for this year as well and publish it to make your life easier. Stay tuned with this post, as I constantly update it.
Personally, I would also love to meet potential partners at the event. My company, Mo’Minis, offers a one-stop-shop for rapid mobile games development, porting and distribution. Our platform allows fast creation of mobile games with automated porting to a wide variety of handsets. We are seeking partnerships with distribution channels of mobile content - mobile operators, mobile content portals, content aggregators and large internet portals wishing to enter the mobile arena.

great compilation of events here. I am actually from the Singapore government and will be bringing a delegation of 9 companies to exhibit at Mobile World Congress. We will be hosting a small networking cocktail on the Wed 17th Feb, 3 - 5pm at our booth 1F06 and it will be great if you could publish it as well!

Hi Aviv, thanks you for putting up this site. It would prove very useful to a lot of attendees. When I attended last year, I stayed in my hotel most of the night (boy was it boring) except after the event that went to watch my team (Barca) play. All work and no play obviously make jack a dull boy. More so, you get to network while relaxing. Kudos to you. Please keep it up. Suleiman

European VC Network & World Mobile Congress VC Event
“We are organizing an informal get together for international VC professionals during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Wed 17th Feb 20.00.
“The European Venture Capital Network is an informal social network for European VCs. Their social events run throughout the year and include monthly socials as well as larger industry and seasonal events.”
It is really worthwhile joining the network in order to further enhance your access to the international VC community.
Here is a guideline how to register:

2. After having been verified that you are a Venture Capital professional (the idea is to avoid mixing the community with service providers) you will receive an email with the registration guidelines.
3. Once you are registered, you will find in the “Home” section under “News & Announcements” the info for the VC get together in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress.
4. Once you enter that event ,pls click on the right hand side and tell us whether you will attend or not.”
We already have about 15 confirmed VCs and Business Angels from Barcelona and around Europe, so this will be a great opportunity to network.
